Atrial Fibrillation (heart rhythm) Screening

Also called partial electrocardiogram, this screening procedure helps determine whether you have an arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat). The presence of arrhythmia increases the possibility of stroke by several times.

The procedure is simple, non-invasive, painless, and takes only a few minutes. Electrodes (each used only once) are placed on the wrists and ankles while you are in a supine position (lying on your back).
